Suitable for use in all states of Australia, and in particular covers the New South Wales syllabus requirements in terms of:

  • Practice: artmaking and art criticism
  • The Conceptual Framework: the relationship between artist, artwork, world, audience and their changing roles
  • The Frames: four different points of view that assist in the understanding of the artist, the world and the audience

Many distinguished writers and academics have contributed articles to this website.  It is intended that students refer to those writings and to the accompanying bibliographies and also to view photographs and drawings in the website’s Gallery. Students are also encouraged to visit the buildings, and walk the streetscapes.
